It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at iluma!

Learn how to make your own Christmas Croquembouche as a the perfect centrepiece for your Christmas table!

Croquembouche always make a grand statement as a centre-piece but we think they are even more magical if they have a festive make-over!

What to Expect:

This 3.5 hour class will include:

• 3 hours class where our kitchen elves will teach you how to make choux pastry from scratch

• Learn how to make a variety of simple, tasty fillings for your choux to make things easy for yourself

• Learn how to assemble a croquembouche with and without a cone using chocolate

• Learn how to create ornaments for your croquembouche

• Learn how to use spun sugar to decorate your croquembouche and a few hacks to help you stream line the process

• 1/2 to unwind with a complimentary cup of tea or coffee and a selection of iluma desserts

What you will take home:

• You will take home a 20cm high croquembouche

• We will share with you an e-book with recipes , tips and tricks to create a 40cm high croquembouche at home (emailed after class).

Who is this for?

This event is designed for INTERMEDIATE bakers/decorators. Beginners can attend but please be aware that we will be moving at a quick pace to ensure everyone has time to build their croquembouche.

Products in use contain gluten, egg, dairy, soy, sulphites, colours and may contain nuts (tree & ground), seeds, lupin and other allergens due to shared equipment.

Safety & Courtesy Requirements

• Please wear enclosed non-slip footwear to keep your tootsies safe (sneakers are ideal) - please do not wear heels.

• Please tie back long hair and leave loose jewellery at home

• Please keep mobile phones on silent

• Please do not bring professional cameras to this event as it can be distracting for other participants

• Please do not take photos of other participants or their work without their consent

Cancellations

All tickets purchases are final, non-refundable and non-transferrable. If you are purchasing the ticket as a gift or multiple tickets, please provide the details of the person attending including allergies/special dietary requirements.

Change of Date or Cancellation of Class

We require a minimum of 3 persons to run this session. In the event that we must change the date or cancel the class, we will provide you with a choice of a replacement date or a full refund within 7 business days of notification of cancellation.
